Paddling out no kooks or posers!

I thought going to law school was the same as going to any other university. That was my fatal mistake.

Going to law school is like dropping into a ten foot wave. You look at the waves coming, decide to paddle into one and once you commit you’re in for the ride. There is no turning back.

No other thought crosses your mind, other than surviving the drop.

They say that law school never lets up for the three year ride.  My first semester was a wipe out, so I will have to re-wax my board and paddle out again.

Nothing in life is worth doing if you don't have passion for it.

Opinion

Another fallacy is your opinion; a law student should not have an opinion. In law school the only person whose opinion matters is your law professor’s, followed by the opinion of the person who grades your law exams.

It is them who will get you to the state bar exam.

At the Bar Exam it is the opinion of the person who grades your bar exam, that will get you to your practice.

All a law student can do with an opinion is waste time in class and confuse other law students, in reality all they what to do is hear themselves talk.

Never ask a question in class you don’t know the answer to.

Prepare, Prepare, Prepare.
